We are seeking a part time(may work into full time) Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable clerk to help a growing wholesale lumber company. The AR/AP Clerk will handle many functions related to customer and vendor payments in our Accounting Department. Position may include functions outside the accounting department so flexibility is a must. Hours for this position will be set upon employment; typically monday through friday. Virtual work (after training completed) is available.
- Organizing shipped order paperwork and processing customer payments for orders
- Processing customer credit applications
- Assisting with payments to vendors
- Making collections calls to customers
- Scanning documents
- Sorting and distributing incoming mail
- Assisting with Accounting/Administrative Projects as needed
- Strong aptitude for math and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Excellent planning, time management and organizational techniques necessary
